the wire now i understand why there's no graphic or picspams in the tag SO LQ IT'S PAINFUL I'm sorry show you deserved so much better a show for my soul for reals thanks daniel!!! 12caps okay one thing i really love about this show is that it fleshes out both sides neither sides are wrong and neither are right!!! everything is complex complex problems have complex roots and solutions that aren't always solutions individualism vs. communitarian approach both are good and both are bad i wrote an essay on the use of parallel storylines and how that comments on how neither side is inherently good or evil and that cities are as complex are the people who live in them and how good intentions always have bad consequences you don't realize !!! i can go on and on believe me mcnulty says he doesn't give a fuck but he DOES but his whole crusade only goes so far he wants to take down the ring but he doesn't think of the community it supports and how to fix that up and why it developed in the first place on the other hand the drug ring has so much influence and so much power all these kids they use and all of the things these people suffer but the system just doesn't care and the cycle keeps on going neither side wins; both sides lose SHOW WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!
